Slot challenged the England international to curl the ball into a goal from behind the touchline after the Dutch manager pulled off the trick himself. Not content with simply copying the coach, though, Alexander-Arnold decided to move the ball further back. He was warned the shot was an "impossible" one, but managed to send it bouncing into the net.

Slot will hope that Alexander-Arnold's awesome goal will be a sign of things to come from the 25-year-old as they gear up for their first season under the Dutch manager after he replaced Jurgen Klopp at the helm at Anfield. The pair seemed to be having a good time together, too, which could be an indication that the right-back is open to committing his future to the Merseyside club by signing a contract extension, with his current deal set to expire in a year.
